Maiti Nepal was formed In 1993 by a group of socially committed professionals like teachers, journalists and social workers to fight against the social evils inflicted upon our female populace. This has drastically highlighted trafficking issues through strong advocacy from local, national and international levels.
Shakti Samuha began in 1996 and have been organizing and empowering returning trafficking survivors by providing shelter, legal aid, vocational training and counseling. We have set up groups in rural and vulnerable communities to make a united stand against traffickers.
Mukti Nepal is a Kathmandu-based group of organizations and individuals fighting together against trafficking, sexual exploitation and abuse through prayer, shared learning and collaboration.
Located in Dolahiti, The Tailoring Centre was began in 2009 by the Salvation Mission. The Tailoring Centre provides training in sewing, craft, literacy, English classes and afterschool care for children.
